Part of the delusion of the Left is that we can ignore what is going on in the world. If you are a devotee of Chomsky--as is our President--American foreign policy is just an extension of imperialism.

Common sense dictates that we remain aware of what is transpiring in foreign places, even if we may choose to remain aloof. Aloof, as a policy, seems to fit our current regime's leaders. Fortunately, we have Michael Totten to keep an eye on what's transpiring in Lebanon.
