Free Bus Ride for Wu Townhall

Finally, funding came through from the Republican Party to transport those who are angry about the legislative work of our Congressman, David Wu.

Busses will be available on Broadway at the City Pool, August 13th, at four in the afternoon. The Townhall Meeting will be held across the street at the Seaside Public Library, 1131 Broadway.

This is a deliberate attempt to Astroturf™, so don't be surprised when critics of Congressman Wu are accused of Astroturfing. This is going to be quintessential Astroturfing. Astroturfing the "Oregon Way".

We do things differently here.

We should not ask the Congressman to read the bills that he votes on. (Those bills are too long!) That is not why we elected him. We elected him because he is so compash, and really quite smart. Smart, compassionate people have a higher calling than having to perform the mundane task of reading the legislation he votes for. We need to ask him about his compassion for the poor, the kids and the union members that cough up the bucks that help him get re-elected. Oh, and the teachers. And their union contributions to the Congressman's campaign fund. That's why we elected him. Smart and compassionate. A two-fer if I've ever heard one.

Oh, and dress well. Be polite and respectful. No yelling. No shouting. This will prove that we are an angry mob. And deliberately Astroturfing the Congressman's Townhall Meeting. (Making him responsible for reading the legislation he votes on. Now, that's funny!)
