I'm a big believer in the infantalisation of America.
The number of adult men and women that I come into contact on a daily basis is a fairly small number. It's not age, you knew that. It's the number of men and women who take responsibility for their businesses, their employees, their families and their homes. That a confounding error may exist is in part due to the fact that I am in contact with so many public employees; teachers and government employees.
I think it goes to explain why people who have no other interest in politics other than the role played on television can view a candidate like Fred Thompson and feel attracted to him. Much like the character portrayed by Phil Harris in The Junglebook, Fred Thompson's mellifluous chauntings relieve the stress of critical thinking and allow us to assume a political fetal position, safe in secure in the soothing tones of Daddy.
Does he speak about his beliefs in terms that I understand and can agree with? Yeah, mostly.
But I can't help but compare his curmudgeonly bear routine against this. Going up against Ms. Clinton? I'd rather have a focused, practised leader than a cuddly bear. But that's just me.

hey there,
Fred is much like me.---a man you can trust--what he says is true--and he goes far beyond the Hillary want to bees.
